Karen Burgess introduces Senator Amy Klobuchar at International Academy of Trial Lawyers Mid-Year Meeting in Minneapolis

Karen Burgess was honored to introduce Senator Amy Klobuchar for her introductory speech about the work she is doing in Washington to defend our Democracy.

Senator Klobuchar is the first woman elected to represent the State of Minnesota in the U.S. Senate. Before serving in the Senate, she headed the largest prosecutor’s office in Minnesota for eight years. In her tenure as a Senator, she has led the effort to pass landmark legislation to end human trafficking, combat the opioid epidemic and has fought to pass the most significant consumer product safety legislation in a generation.
